Traditional Pan
Ref. OLLA_
CHARACTERISTICS
The traditional pan is one of the pieces that is still manufactured since its first production centuries ago. This traditional piece with lid and large height is made entirely of refractory clay from Pereruela and in a traditional way with the technique of clayturning and glazed with lead-free enamels regulated by the Health Authorities fulfilling all the royal decrees for proper use. It is ideal for its height to do the typical cooking in any type of direct fire, since it is cooked at very high temperatures (+ 1000ºC) so it has great resistance against direct fire without breaking. You can also make any legume stew as well as lentils, beans or any other type of stews.
Another function is conserving food as it is done in clay pots.
Rosa Pottery Workshop has a wide range of measurements from 12 cm for individual use, up to 50 cm for professional use. All of them are made by hand as all our products, with Pereruela refractory clay and of course cooked with lead-free glaze as previously mentioned.

RECOMMENDATIONS.
- The traditional pan, like the bowl and the stew pot, has two handles of a size according to the size of the piece. Due to the weight of these bowls plus the added weight of the stew inside, we advise all our customers that when using them, do not use only the handles to pick it up, but for a better use it is better to put your hands through those handles and to embrace the pan with a cloth or gloves the pot. In this way, the weight will be distributed in a uniform way preventing the handles from being damaged
We remember that they are pieces that, like the other pieces that Rosa Pottery Workshop offers, can be used in all kinds of fire (electric ovens, wood-fired oven of Rosa Pottery Workshop, ceramic stoves, induction stoves (with specific adaptor), grills, barbecues, clay ovens, assembled ovens ready to use, ovens with burner, microwave, chimneys ...)
